Professional File Preparation: Bleed Correction
At Central Business Marketing, we ensure your project looks its best. One of the biggest challenges in the printing industry is receiving files without a proper "Bleed." A bleed is the extra 0.125" of background extending past the cut line; without it, your project may have thin white edges after trimming.
Understanding Your File Type & Pricing
The cost of preparation depends on how your artwork was created. We offer two levels of service based on your file format:
Vector File Preparation — 10.00

File Types:
PDF, AI, EPS, or CorelDRAW.

The Benefit:
These files are based on math, not pixels. They can be scaled to any size without losing quality, making bleed adjustments fast and precise.
Flattened Bitmap/Image Preparation — 25.00

File Types:
JPG, PNG, or TIFF.
•
The Challenge:
These are "flattened" pixel-based images. To create a bleed, our artists must manually clone and redraw the edges to "stretch" the background without distorting your design.
